One egg?The last three times Buddy has laid eggs, she only laid one. Is this because she is older? I'm not sure how old she is; she has an '08 band but since I got her in '07 from another rescuer, fully grown, that can't be right.
Two days ago she did it for the third clutch, only laid one. They are giant eggs lol but I take them and give her dummy eggs to lay on. I can just imagine how big the baby would be if it hatched. Last summer they successfully hatched two oops babies so it's just recently that she's doing it. It seems from what I've read that she's just getting a bit older. . .is that correct? No other eggs can be felt inside or anything.

Very strange about the bands .. I'll have to muddle on that one for a bit. Not really knowing how old Buddy is, it's hard to say whether age is causing the single eggs or not. With no signs of any problems, I wouldn't worry too much but just be keeping a close eye on her.

Thanks. . .I got her from Jen in November '07, and she was a mature girl then with the injury to her eye being old and well-healed. So who knows. . .
