Our newest little addition!

First an update on Luna and Oddball. If you don't remember them, Luna is a white former-feral and Oddball is a Crested Helmet Pigeon. They're doing well, and are no longer afraid of me...but they don't seem to like me much either!! They both attack my hand when I approach them, but that's okay, I know they love me deep down! : P

Our other little guy, Vida the Ringneck dove, was very lonely and wanted to be friends with Luna and Oddball. He'd follow them around and try to roost on their cage, ignoring their assaults, and even letting them just stand on his back. He would pace in his aviary, anxious to get over to their cage. But now, he is content and happy with another of his own kind!

They sit together and preen one another. I've been kind of confused as to who is the male and who is the female though....I've always thought that Vida was a male because he coo'd, but the cooing that this little one is doing is much more impressive and accompanied by a puffed neck and impressive dance skills.

Now she just needs a name! Does anybody have any ideas?

Also, does anybody know what variety she is?

How cute. She looks just like my Snowflake. I'm sure you can come up with a more original name though.

She's lovely! Congratulations to both you and Vida.

I'm on something of a Shakespeare kick at the moment, so my suggestions would be Hermia or Helena or Lady MacBeth.
