Please Welcome ''Flower the Fantail.I contacted a show fantail pigeon breeder in my area a few days ago,
Well it just so happens he actually phoned me today with great news! he was willing to give me one free fantail from his flock, my grandpa was at my house so I asked him to drive me since it was not too far away. When I got there this man had a beautiful set up for his birds, SO many fantails but he picked out a few young pigeons that I could choose from and I did, this pigeon I got was the tamest of them all, did not even bother to run away from me (or this case wobble away lol). I'm so happy with my decision! Flower comes to me when I coo for her and loves to be rubbed on her precious head. Oh and she's molting right now so please don't mind the scruffy-ness. Flower has really turned into such a sweet flower!
Today I let her on my bed and she came right to me... jumped on my lap and hoped all the way onto my shoulder then started cooing to my face lol, she just loves attention and adores her head scratches, I never knew she would adjust to me so soon because she was pretty scared at first. I won't tell Flower this but the breeder gave her to me because he thought she was not ''show worthy... well I think she would come in first place, what an angel she is! |

Well, FW...we don't care if she would come in first place in a "show."
Flower will ALWAYS be FIRST PLACE in your heart!! You lucked out and the breeder's loss is certainly YOUR gain!! Squeaks will jump on my lap and make his way to my shoulder, BUT, only on his way to the back of the couch...a snuggle bird, Squeaks is NOT *SIGH*...for the most part! You are so fortunate!
