would like to trade pigeons in San DiegoWe have to birds that have had 3 sets of babies. Unfortunately we could not find a mate soon enough and the 1st 2 babies laid eggs together. Would like to trade the male for another so we don't have inbreeding. We had 8 birds in all however the mom of them all did not come home yesterday so we are sooooo sad. The birds are healthy with no lice or mites. Please let me know if you are interested. We are in the 92126 zip.

I'm sorry the mother did not come home, do you allow them to free fly?
You can use wooden dummy eggs to replace viable eggs, if you are worried about inbreeding or a population explosion. You just use the dummy eggs to replace each egg as they are layed. You can purchase them at pigeon supply houses.

Hi Surffam,
I'm not able to trade pigeons with you but could refer you to my rescue partner in Norco. I took almost 50 rescued pigeons out there last week. They are all available for adoption, and some are very fine banded racing pigeons. There are also some very nice banded show/fancy pigeons. Let me know if you are interested, and I'll get the contact information to you. Terry |
