That is a very interesting article, Terry.
I know that a lot of the time we are limited to what we have to hand, but the article makes the selection easier. I was considering treating Dizzy (a pigeon that I got from bird_brain and has severe neurological symptoms) with steroids, but I will have to rethink that in view of the damage that they can do.
