Hi Robby,
I do have your info to add to the list. It takes a bit of doing to get an updated list up and published, and I am still waiting to see if there are any more takers before sending the updated version to our administrator. I will go ahead and send the new list in the next day or so. Thank you so much for all your interest and help. The Pigeon-Talk list is at http://www.pigeon-life.net/prd.htm Terry Last edited by Pigeonpal2002; 9th April 2006 at 10:44 PM. |

I meant to call 'Island Pet Hospital' here in Las Vegas to make sure they are 'yes' or 'no' wanting to be on this list, as my memory was 'no'...but I wanted to make sure...so..I will call them tomorrow ( today really, later today, ) when they are open and make sure... I will let you know then... Phil Las Vegas |

N Jersey Wildlife RehabFolks,
I received the following e-mail the other day. I've already referred the lady here and to some of the Yahoo Groups, but if any of you would like to contact her directly, her info is below. Please do not contact me regarding this, I have no knowledge of it other than what's posted below. Frank ===== We are a non-profit bird rehab in Morris County, NJ............we are always looking for good homes for crippled/non-releasable pigeons...........we get many about 300 plus pigeons a year..........not all make it and more than half are released back into the wild, but we do end up with quite a few that we need to find homes for..........would you know of anyone interested in giving homes to many rock pigeons, some crippled racers and a few lost fancies........please contact me either by email or call (908) 647-2353 you can also visit our website at www.theraptortrust.org just ask for Kristi Ward. Chicago Il AreaFrom this Single Post:
http://www.pigeons.biz/forums/showpo...5&postcount=28 Chicago bird rescue/rehab information: Injured Pigeon Chicago area Just got email alert about this bird and checked in here. This is Val with Chicago Bird Collision Monitors. If you've found an injured bird you can call our hotline for assistance: 773 988 1867 - CBCM has teams on the ground each morning in Chicago during migration, and could arrange to transport the pigeon out of the city. It would go to Fox Valley Wildlife Center in Elburn. Or call me direct cell 847-809-2418. However, Dawn Keller of Flint Creek Wildlife is now operating 2 rooms at Meigs Field(Northerly Island -close to the Field Museum downtown Chicago), in the mornings. If you call Flint Creek they could take in the pigeon right down town. Must call ahead for appt. Flint Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation (847) 602 0628. Please call Flint Creek or CBCM immediately, or Val. Valerie Andrla. Bird Rescue team fp Last edited by TAWhatley; 6th September 2007 at 09:39 AM. |
