Sooner or later someone is likely to complain about airborn dust from the droppings being cycled through the air conditioner. Suppose you could handle it in different ways, but however you handle the issue of the eggs/babies/nest
the area should probably be made inaccessible to the pigeons w/netting from the top corners to the corrugated roof so that the parents will seek another sheltered area for nesting. For that matter I guess you could put netting up now that would wrap underneath the unit to protect against falls and then block it off w/netting at the upper corners to roof when the babies have "flown the coop". Usually if folks realize one is keeping a close eye on the developement of the babies so that when fledged the area can be blocked off from further nesting attempts, they are pacified. fp |
