American Modern Flights

Several days ago, I posted several queries about these pigeons and since have learned a few details from the previous owner. These birds are called "American Modern Flights". He said "birders" in New York play some kind of game with them, catching each others birds, or something like that. So our information from that source was sketchy but hopefully some of you know what this might mean. We are curious about how to deal with these pigeons - we have three of them given to my son at an auction when no one would bid on them. Anyone with some clues, we would welcome your insight.

A very good friend of mine has a web site that will show you a little more about your "Flying Flights". His name is Alan of Circus Lofts in Arizona. Of all the different breeds he has, the Flights are his favorite, and he will talk your leg off about them.
Enjoy your birds

Those pigeons are stunning. Unusual color eyes and beaks.

A few months ago a member, I think in Holland (?) posted some pictures of the lofts they use which are very, very, tall. He described how pigeon fanciers there also have a game where they try to trap another person's pigeons. It was pretty interesting. Tried to find the thread but couldn't.

Yes, he does have some very nice looking birds. Its hard to look at his site sometimes, because I just set there and drool.
I thought I was addicted. I told him he is out of control. And he said, yeah, I know...
