Are pigeons gay?I have a frill back who I believe is a male (I checked for gender), however, he/she is flirtin w/another male (which i also checked gender). Can I be wrong or is are pigeons gay also? Is there anything i can do to prevent this? can someone give me something to work with. If they are gay, I plan to trade/sell one or both of them.

Sometimes pigeons will bond with the same sex. This is common. They will set on their own eggs but nothing happens. I suggest you seperate your two birds, match them with others by leaving them in a cage togeather for about 2 weeks. Usually they will bond to another bird if given a chance like forced bonding.
