Babies with PMVI was wondering if babies with pmv have any possiblitity of surviving?

Hello,
Can you give us more info about the babies, symptoms and how you think it might possibly be PMV because salmonellosis (paratyphoid) has almost the exact same symptoms in young birds as PMV so that could be what you're dealing with. How old are the babies? And if it is PMV then they must be seperated and there is a chance they can recover with care, as for salmonellosis they most likely need to be put on antibiotic and also be seperated from their parents and handfed if they can't eat on their own yet.

I am probably talking through my hat here, but if the incubation period for PMV is 8 to 12 weeks, then would the symptoms ever be visible in squabs?
I am inclined to think that squabs showing neck torsion and other nervous symptoms would be suffering from something like paratyphoid and aim to have that confirmed and start treatment with antibiotics as soon as possible. Cynthia
