Baby needs a home

I have a pigeon who needs a home she is sweet and loving, I belive its a she anyway, I found her in the streets of San Francisco and If I didnt bring her home im sure she would have died within a day or two. she didnt have all her feathers yet when I found her,
She wasent eating on her own at that time, but now she has all her feathers and can fly, boy can she fly.
She eats by herself now and loves food, ( of course what pigeon dosent). anyway she is now looking for a home, I would keep her but I think she would be happier if she was on a roof top somewhere as a carrier pigeon, I also think she would be very good at that, as she seems to want to pleAse me all the time,
feeling confident she would warm up to anyone its now time for her to move on to bigger and better things, flying hi in the sky where she belongs, but yet safe in a cage at night and plenty of food, she dosent know how to forage for herself yet so she would depend on food being there for her when she comes home, so if there is someone out there who would love to have her lets talk. she is not for sale , only adoption with no fees to the right owner and lover for her.
she will e needing a mate soon so lets try to team her up with some handsome mate.

I hope someone will respond to you that lives close by, cause I don't believe in shipping long distance. I live in Florida and would love to help, as I have a group of flyers, I know each bird personally by name, they are spoiled rotten and they know it! My coop is safe from predators and cold, and we clean lot. Hope someone close to you will respond. Thank you for taking such great care of her.

awww...she sounds lovely. I have a male. My son brought him home one day from the park. I would love for him to have a mate as well. Too bad you are so far away!

Hey guys thanks for the support, Baby Homer and I'll keep looking for the perfect roof-top for her(I think shes a girl anyway). I think she would be a great carrier pigeon or something like that,
shes very devoted and wants to please me. Its cute and im very supprised in the way she is acting and learning, this is yet another suprise in how intelagent these birds are. I would keep her but I have 3 other birds one pigeon( f/name monty) a dusky conure (m/named Ubu) hes the boss of the house, nothing gets past him.
And Sara my bungy, well she belongs to Ubu, he thinks shes his wife,bosses her like one and she does whatever her wants her too. and now there is Baby Homer, she? Is starting to have pigeon needs like flying, foraging, etc. she need to be with othere pigeons.
Monty is different she is handicaped so she has lots of special needs. keeps me on my toes. so thats our storie and why baby needs to be adopted out. so if you know anyone who is in need for her love,devotion and pure entertainment(great personality). then please by all meens contact us.

Did you try looking for a home for your little pigeon in Marin......You might want to find some contacts at Wildcare in San Rafel. I'd love to help you but I've got a full house (2 male Pigeons, a Dove, a Starling, a cat, and an English sparrow).
