Can anyone in New York City help with pigeonsI posted this message through someone before. I live and work in New York City. I work in Manhattan and live in Queens and I have an apartment. I feed and rescue pigeons on the streets of New York and have gradually built up to more than we can handle, birds that cannot be set free. Even today a lady at work called me and we went and picked up a pigeon on Third Avenue in a doorway (it is a baby and in this city you do not be down and make it). Right now I have him in a box under my desk.
We are at more than capacity to a point where we are overwhelmed. Is there anyone in New York City or its immediate environs that can help. Does someone take in feral pigeons who need help? I do not have a car, I cannot travel any distances. I live in an apartment. If I had a house I would not ask, but that day will never come. |

Hi kati,
Did you try the Berkshire Bird Paradise? If so, what was the outcome (http://www.birdparadise.com/birdparadise/index.htm) Cynthia
