Change in Yahoo Email PolicyFolks,
I learned this the hard way. On 4/24, Yahoo changed its policy regarding free email. You have to "opt in" to their advertisements in order to continue the email service. Go to "My Yahoo" and click on "account information." Then, go down to your marketing preferences and click on the link. On the very top of that page is a yes or no answer. Click yes and you will continue to receive emails otherwise, as of today, forget it. Worry about what ads you want to receive another time.

They have also cancelled free mail fowarding and POP3 access, which means I can't use any mail clients like Outlook to check email. Bummer !
