Chickens In Need Of Rescue!

320 chickens from laboratory need rescued !

After being used for a feed study program in an Ohio State University laboratory , 320 chickens will be released to sanctuaries and approved adopters but they must be out of there by Monday , June 3rd!

There are 250 "broiler" chickens approx. 4 weeks old

50 Leghorn chickens
20 mixed variety ( could be exotics or just different breeds we aren't sure )

Anybody that has seen PBS' "The Natural History Of The Chicken" would seriously have
to reconsider these remarkable creatures.

Hey Ray,

Being in California, it's not possible for me to help, you know I love chickens as well I'll post onto the two poultry sites I visit, I know there are people in that direction. We'll see how it goes.

Poor little angels, I can't imagine the life they have had to this point, and now what, just work towards and hope for the best for them.
