He is still bleeding. But not as much and not all the time. But it is getting to be more blood and less water.
But he is still alive, thank God. ------------------ CJ CJ, I have pasted your last reply from the previous thread here. Cindy "OK guys. I am wondering of Pennyroyal is always fatal or if there is a chanch of his recovery. Squeelers is still bleeding and is seems to be coming from his bottom. but in not sure the exact spot. I dont realy know how to check if his crop is full. I havent applyed anything that is acidic. I used to feed him peas and rice (1/2). But now I feed him wild bird seed. If there is anything I can get for him insted of going to a vet, please tell me." [This message has been edited by AZWhitefeather (edited April 10, 2004).]

Pigeons can be very stronged willed & it seems as though Squeeker is doing his best to hang on, however, he is at a very critical point & needs medical attention as soon as possible.
Did you receive my email? Could you post the answers to the questions as soon as possible so hopefully we can help you find the medical attention Squeeker so desperately needs? Cindy

Hi CJ,
Thanks for the update. Has the vet actually seen Squeekers yet? Even if he doesn't know what is wrong he can give him something to counteract the loss of blood. The fact that you treated the pigeon with Pennyroyal does not mean that is the cause of bleeding. It could be caused by egg-binding, polyp, ulcer. This is why you need to either see a vet or examine it carefully and tell us what you find. Are you in Northern California? Cynthia [This message has been edited by cyro51 (edited April 11, 2004).]
