I have posted a small amount of Baytril, Spartrix, Appertex, vitamins and syringes so that if you have an emergency you have something to hand, but please consult the members here before dosing any sick pigeons because they can help you determine what to give. Overdosing or mixing the wrong medicines can do more harm than good.

i rung them up the pigeon is getting better it is now eating. i was told the foot will never heal again and if so not right. They don't really know whats wrong with it they have never seen this b4 in a bird. cyro thx i sure will. She thinks it had a fight with a wall and lost.

just an update the pigeon took a turn for the worst today it has stopped feeding all together and stopped drinking. The rehabber is keeping it on the medication just hope it gets better.

the rehabber said the pijjie has a lung infection it looks bad she thinks it won't make it they r givin it injections for it. Just hope it pulls through.

I hope that it pulls through too!
Baytril is great for lung infections. I found a racer that looked as if he was on his last legs, puffed up, eyes half closed, breathing with loud groaning breaths...I gave him his first dose of Baytril and went to bed, but by 4 in the morning I was convinced he was dead. I went to check up on him and he was stuffing his face with seed! He made a full recovery. Cynthia

the meds arrived the baytril leaked everywhere. im gonna bring the last bit to the rehab center and use it for the sick 1.
