Denver pigeons have been adopted

Hello everyone,
GREAT NEWS!!!
Chuck & I are going to adopt the two 'special needs' pigeons from Denver.
I want to thank Terry for putting up with all my questions.
Additionally, we are going to 'care for', at the present time, the white pigeon that was found in Phoenix. I will continue trying to locate the owner. If unsuccessful or they would rather not have it returned we will adopt him as well.
Chuck will p/u the Denver pigeons on Thursday evening or Friday morning & be home on Saturday.
Any helpful hints?? We are open to all.

I just have to say WOW, this is a great story. You people are so awesome and came up with a solution so quickly. This site is absolutely wonderful. I don't post very often, although I do read the posts everyday, but I just have to say congratulations and way to go everyone! God bless all of you who love and care for God's creatures.

I just want to agree with everyone else in saying well done on providing a home for these two pigeons and I must once again say how great and caring the people on this site are. When someone needs help they're guaranteed to get it.

UPDATE on pigeon adoption!!
As stated previously Chuck will be in Denver probably Friday sometime, which is not soon enough for him. He just called & is so excited to get these two sweeties, as am I.
Their venture to AZ will be a luxurious one. We want everyone to know, Chuck's semi rides quite smoothly, he will make sure the birds are safe & secure. His sleeper has two beds (bunk on top) so at night the birds will have their own bed which to set the cage with no disruptions. Once they arrive home the big guys will live in a beautiful 'AZ room' (kind of like a den only enclosed with windows) looking out onto the lake.
'Nurse Nancy' our rehabber has offered to help me with the wing situation. That will be taken care of as soon as they arrive.

Back here at home I am preparing to receiving our third adoptee. The little white pigeon from Phoenix. I spoke with Laura last evening & she will bring him/her by this morning. This little pij will also live in the AZ room, however will have his/her own cage. We want to keep them separated for obvious reasons but also need to get this 'feather plucking' thing going on under control.
As soon as all are settled I will get some pictures.

Wow Cindy, Ya know... I may have to put myself up for adoption too... is there room in the "AZ room" for me? (well me and my pony) lol!
