fairytail happy ending for baby pigeon with breathing problemsI just have to share this happy ending regarding the pideon I posted about in my earlier posting. Thanks to the timely advise, and deep concern from Snowbird, the baby pigeon (aka Jellybird) has received medical attention for a damaged airsack. The vet has indicated that Jellybird will be just fine and is in good health.
I must also thank those who created/maintaine this wonderful website. You saved the life of this little one, and my sanity at the same time. What a reck I was over this....who could know how attached one can become over a pigeon? But the story doesn't end there, I received a post from someone who lives near by and had previously rescued a baby pigeon back in June with a few broken legs, that pigeon's name is Opus, and that pigeon is also doing fine. She has offered to take in Jellybird as a companion for Opus. So this could end up being a pigeon love story of the true kind. Please rest assured that this is the real deal, I spoke with her and there is no doubt in my mind she will love this bird. She has also agreed to email me pics of the two periodically. Like I said, I just love happy endings, hope you do too. Mary-Anne No longer confused in California. PS. You can look at baby Jellybird, I posted a picture in the earlier thread. |

Many thanks for the wonderful update.
She has also agreed to email me pics of the two periodically. I do this as well. Those that place a pigeon in another's care are very often concerned about how they are coming along & grateful to receive updates & pictures. When you receive updates of Jellybird (love that name), please pass them along, as we would love to know how he is doing. Cindy ![]()
