Flying White Homers

First I want to start off saying how much I appreciate everyone's help here at Pigeon-Talk. It has helped me immensely with my small flock.
Here's the question. How much is the going rate for flying White homers? And how many are used for the price?
Any help would be great!

SandyDove

PS: Could you direct me to some White flyers web-sites?

Good morning SandyDove,
I afraid I can't answer your questions, however I did want to make a suggestion.
You might want to post your questions in the 'Birds for Sale' forum as well.
Other members with this type of experience will be checking both forums and should be along soon to help you.
Cindy

If you want to learn a LOT about flying whites, check out http://groups.yahoo.com/group/WHPF/

There are almost 250 members there, all of which raise white pigeons.

The rates vary, depending on where you live, how far you're willing to do releases from, etc. But the basic price ranges from about $200-$450, depending on the "package".

Now, before you think, WOW, I'm going to make a lot of money at this!.... Of $200, you MAYBE make $10-15, after expenses. And that is by your 3-4th year in business. My first year, I spent almost $6,000 in set up, advertising, gas for training, crates, decorations, etc. I made $650.00

THIS IS NOT A "GET RICH QUICK" business, by any means. LOL

If you would like to see some really nice websites for white release businesses, check out http://www.white-dove-releases.com/list.htm
