Found in Cental Iowa

Since Memorial day we have had a pigeon guest at our house in Johnston, Ia. He/She has a blue band from the year 2003 with the # 2038 on it. The bird seems healthy (good appetite) and has flown off for a couple of days at a time twice but seems to like coming back. Any one care to claim? Should I stop feeding? The bird is not a problem, but someone may want their bird back.

e-mail inquiries can be made to prexcoble@msn.com

Welcome to pigeons.com and thank you for feeding this pigeon!

Are there letters in addition to the numbers on the band? If so, we may be able to trace the owner if you will post all the letters and numbers.

Please do continue feeding the bird. Since it is banded, it was someone's pet or racing pigeon and is used to being provided with food, water, and shelter.
