Free to a Good HomeHi, all. I rescued a very young chick this past August. He is now in good health and ready for a home with other pigeons. He has never been outside, or loose anywhere but in my house for that matter. So he cannot be released! -at least until rehabilitated. This is, for the most part a caged feral pigeon. He is very active. Please let me know if anyone is interested. I'm in Atlanta, GA. Do not want to ship.

Hi Melissa,
I am just bumping this up. Thank you for looking after this baby! Are you unable to keep him as a pet? If not, and if he is otherwise healthy, you might be able to find a rehabber that would put him with other rescued youngsters to develop survival skills and then release him as part of an established flock. BUT you must be careful because a lot of organisations believe in destroying healthy pigeons rather than releasing them because they are considered pests. Cynthia

I'm still looking for a home for him. I'm not sure of the sex, but from his nature, I think he's a male. I'd like to place him before the end of February. All inquiries welcome. If he could be rehabbed, I would be very happy!
