Getting pigeons to eat barleySome of you might be interested in this, if you don't know about it already. Pigeons do not like barley and will only eat it if they are very hungry, but it is good for them so try this. I did, and our birds go nuts for it. Get a dish, about 2 inches deep and 10 or 12 inches long,(actually depends on how many birds you have) cover the bottom with barley and pour water over it. Let it sit for about 4 days until it starts sprouting and put it in front of your birds. They really do like it!!
