Help!!! Found Pigeon in Cali

Hi all.

A friend of mine from an online gaming leauge called this evening and said they'd found an injured pigeon in their apartment complex. Problem is, I'm about 2000 miles away, have been able to get basic needs met, but they really need someone to come pick the little guy up. Not sure what's wrong with him, just isn't able to fly at all. They did send a pic, which I can email someone if necessary. Bird is located in marysville (sp?) cali, she says about 40 miles north of sacramento. Can anyone be of any assistance? Just reply or email me and I can put you in touch with them. Hi Dave,

It's way too far for me to be able to help with this one. Your friend could try the Feather River Wildlife Care (530) 743-0867 in Marysville or the Sacramento Wildlife Center (916) 338-2774 and see if they take pigeons. Or, get the band info, and we can try to trace the owner. Better yet, perhaps there is a member close enough to assist.
