I caught an American bird!

Hi all,

As some of you might know, I live in the Netherlands, and today I caught an American bird that was entered in the Eijerkamp Dutch Open races. It comes from a guy called Ganus (I have heard and seen his name allot). Can anyone tell me more about this guy? In the meantime, I'm going to contact Eijerkamp tomorrow to see if they want to pick up this bird together with a Swiss entered bird that a friend of mine caught (the birds were released about 15km from us in Lommel!).

search there for Ganus and you will see the bird I caught (AU GFL 04 1003 - Cappuccino)

My friend caught a bird called Mystic from Switserland as I mentioned - CH 04 2218(owner - Herrn Ott Dominik Altendorf).

Here is a link to his web site. Mike Ganus is a VERY well known pigeon man in the USA. He will be very appreciative that you return his bird or at least offer to. He may even say you can keep it! Who knows??

Thanks! I emailed Mr. Ganus, but no reply yet. As long as the bird is back where he belongs and he gets treated ok, I'm happy (but he's always welcome ofcourse if he looses his way back from another flight )
