i found a baby robin in the summer that had been ditched by the momyeah in the summer i noticed a robins nest and it had a baby and no mom
(she abandoned it) and i brought it in the house and feed it warm milk with copped up worms and kept it under a warm light and when i woke up it had died it could not have been more then a couple days old why did it die it's belly was pretty fat could i have over fed it? but it seemed so happy when we had it under the light and we kept it there it would get up and dance round why did it die i hate to see any living animal die was there a way to keep it alive ------------------ luke

Hi luke,
There is an outstanding website for wild birds that is from Tristate Bird Rescue and Research in Delaware. www.tristatebird.org It includes care and diets in an emergency. Milk is not a food that birds can digest. I'm sure you will find their info valuable when the next wild bird finds its way to your kind care and concern. Marian |
