From the tone and text of your recent post I would say you are a very mature person at 14.
And someone with a very pure heart. Hope you are successful in finding a new safe home for your pigeon. Please tell us about your pet pigeon and how you came to have him.
Regards,
Big Bird

Hello there. You seem to be a very responsable person, it is good to hear. I live in Wisconsin and I am to be married in May. Me and my fiance thought it would be neat to release pigeons as we leave the church. This is my first time visiting this site and I know very little about pigeons. I don't know if what I am asking is offensive or what. I don't know if people might think I'm crazy but we thought it would be a unique idea to set pigeons free on our special day. They would NOT be harmed. We definitaly don't want to invest a lot of money in this (weddings cost a fortune as it is) but we would cover any expenses. Maybe you or someone else can help us out. Any replies would be much appreciated. I hope you have a great day!

Jimmy,
Congradualations on your up-coming wedding. About the pigeons, try going to a local petshop (one that sells pigeons) and ask if you could post a sign. Maybe a local breeder can help you out. Just an idea.

You can probably arrange for white doves to be released at your wedding (these ARE pigeons).

This should be done by a professional. The idea of holding a few pigeons till your wedding day and then letting them go will likely disappoint and embarrass you. Done right, this is awesome! Leave this to the pro's. Do it right or don't do it.

Start with: http://www.pigeon.org/
and track down a loft in your area of the state. You'll have to negotiate the price.

Or try a wedding planner for a referral...
