IncubationCan anyone tell me how to incubate an abandoned egg?
Today is day two for the poor egg and I would like to incubate it if possible. Or am I wasting my time? Jesus |

You can try anything here but the expectations should be kept low.
We usually place the egg under a setting pigeon, that way the egg will receive proper care. If you really want to do this, I suggest you research the parrot web sites for information on egg incubation. Regards, Carl |

As of this writing I do not anyone as of yet that has sccesfully raised an incubated pigeon egg. They need the first day of pigeon milk, even if only one feeding. Best to have several pairs on eggs and know within 2 to 3 days of the laying dates. Too much over that time and they will produce milk with seed and the seed cannot be digested in day old squabs.
