Just wondering about bugs

Pigeon-talk,
I have been doing some reading on the other posts and was wondering about my pigeon. My squeaker came to me as an egg....Do I need to worry about these bugs...lice...you all have been speaking about. My baby bird is an indoor bird and it has its own cage. I have cockateils as well and all their cages have an 8in1 bird protectors to gard against lice. Should I worry if the pigeon is a stay inside bird?

Hi Gena!
I don't think you have to worry about lice on your squeaker since you've had him/her from an egg...unless your teils have them. Feather lice are passed from bird to bird.
