When I took my little girl in Wednesday night the lump turned out to be a massive infection. The vet then lifted up her injured wing and there was a really big bone sticking out of it. It was probebly as big as my thumb and it too was really infected. So the vet told me she would have to have surgery to remove some of that bone and to clean out the infected "pocket" she had. I was really scared and I didnt want to let my little angel go. I asked her 50 times if my little girl was going to be ok and she told me she would be fine. Well she was not fine. She didnt make it through the night and now my angel is gone..... my world is gone.... I am in total shock....I want my baby back.....

Tara,
There is not much I can say except my thoughts are with you and how sorry I am.
I personally don't feel any medical personel (being a retired one myself) should make promises. We all know dealing with life has it's obsticles, doesn't make it any eaiser I know.
Bacon had a wonderful friend. You brought much joy to her as she did to you. Hang on to each and every memory. Again I am truly sorry for your loss. Cindy

I just wish the vet had been open with me. I mean I know that there was risks of course. But I was told she would be fine and my spirits were lifted. My poor baby girl....I miss her sooooooo much.....she was like my child.....
