my young pigeon of unknown breedingCome see a pretty picture of Valentine at
http://community.webshots.com/user/musdan He is supposed to be a turbit. At least that is what I was told by the person who I got the parents from. From what I have looked at, Turbits have very short fat beaks and as you can see his beak is neither short nor fat. He might be a Old German Owl, but he has feathers down to where his toes start and owls are clean legged and footed, and their crests are more developed too. hmmmm The other 2 pics are of the abandoned baby (see emergency care) that we are now taking care of. It's hard to tell base on the pictures. Do you have a picture that display the whole bird from head to toe?
