my young pigeon of unknown breeding

He is supposed to be a turbit. At least that is what I was told by the person who I got the parents from. From what I have looked at, Turbits have very short fat beaks and as you can see his beak is neither short nor fat. He might be a Old German Owl, but he has feathers down to where his toes start and owls are clean legged and footed, and their crests are more developed too. hmmmm

The other 2 pics are of the abandoned baby (see emergency care) that we are now taking care of.

SATINETTE, that is what I think it is. It looks like that or a SERAPHIM.

Just wnated to let you know................what do you think it is, wondering?

It does resemble my Satinettes, and yours is probably an Oriental Frill, also.

It's hard to tell base on the pictures. Do you have a picture that display the whole bird from head to toe?
