Not a pigeon question, but an animal in need question!!!!

My boyfriend has brought home a VERY little mouse, and I was wondering if anyone knew what I could feed or what it should drink. I think that it is beyond hope because it is so small, but anything I can do to save it would be nice!!! Thanks all!!!

I would guess that mice will eat almost anything and they probably love seed. Give a cup of water and some different foods such as seed, bread, dry cereal and see what it goes for.
If this is a wild mouse, I should tell you that they carry salmonella and to be very careful, disinfect your hands whenever you touch anything that is connected to the mouse.
If you are going to keep it, please take it to a vet for blood, fecal and throat smears to make sure you are safe.
I hope you keep us up to date on this. It's a living creature and you are doing the best you can for it.

Tara...
When you say very little mouse.... do you mean a baby?.... a weaned baby or an unweaned baby?
If mouse is just weaned give soft food only and plenty of fluids. Soaked dog food is ideal. For an unweaned baby, I am afreaid you have a problem. Unless you can find someone who keeps mice and has babes in a nest..... then you could try fostering, but it doesn't always work.
Good luck
Helen

I find mice very cute! Of the characters in "The Green Mile", Mr. Jingles was my favorite!

Well, the little guy died yesterday. I think that he was just way to young to be away from is mother. It had all its fur but its eyes were barely open. I am so sad for the little thing. He was SO cute!! He was eating and drinking fine, but I guess he was just too young. Thanks all!

I am so sorry. At least he died warm, and well fed and safe.
