I've been away for weeks. I kept reading the messages and trying to reply but it kept coming up with a message saying there was no-one called Nooti in the database!
I tried to re-register but it told me that the name Nooti was already taken and I would have to choose another name - Go figure?
Today, finally the datebase has decided to get its act together and allow me to post so here I am posting about posting and not pigeons. Sorry! :-)

Hi Kick,

Nooti (Helen) was referring to the "database" here at pigeons.com that validates your user name and password .. you know .. the same one that might decide one day not to allow you access.

Nooti is very experienced with pigeons and would be a good person to have in your corner should you ever need help with a sick or injured bird .. just a subtle hint to you.

I am so glad to see you back Helen! I often see posts where your input is desperately needed.

My user name is occasionally rejected but fortunately not for long! At one point I got so frustrated I tried to re-register under another user name but it wouldn't accept that because the e-mail address had already been used.

Others have had the same problem you describe--Cindy, Marian and d, to name three. The problem was never adequately explained.

Thanks Ray - it's nice to be back. I started to think Carl had kicked me off for not being around for a while! :-)
It's blooming frrrrreeeeezing over this side of the pond and the pigeon intake is through the roof. 4 yesterday and a total of 18 so far this year!
Still - it keeps me out of mischief! :-)
