Self white birds when mated togeather make for totally white birds. If you start with anything less, you will always have color showing up along the line. I have seen two white birds (not self whites) produce color in the young. So you can keep trying with your color and white bird, mating the most white to the most white, but color will remain somewhere. Good luck,

You can also mate a young hen back to her father. Since this young hen will have half of her father's genes, their young may be all white or get very close. Then mate a young hen from these two back to the father, and pretty soon you will get back to all white birds, and they will be white from the same genetic background.

Breeding birds for color is a difficult task. The outcome is difficult to predict.
A young bird may have the mothers coloring, or the fathers coloring, or some other coloring hidden the the mothers or fathers genes. What ever color they come out, just be sure to love them. They are all beautiful.

Pure white pigeons are called self-whites. Self whites are not found in all pigeon varieties. Your self whites could be any variety. It is not their color but what they look like. What do your birds look like
