Garlic is good.
I give my birds once a month a garlic gel capsule.

I like to crush fresh garlic with a garlic press into my pigeon's drinking water. I use 2 cloves to a gallon and do this at least once a week. I know someone who will freeze garlic water in an ice cube tray and drop a cube every day or two into their drinking water.
