Rollers and Tumblers?Hi,
I am bit confused about the difference between rollers and tumblers. Can anyone give me some explanation about these wonderful performers? Also, I have seen a roller/tumbler performing at about 4-6 ft from the ground. I was told it was a ground tumbler, which of course was highly trained and could perform for a specific whistle. Have anyone seen heard about this? Much appreciated. ------------------ pgn&dove

Hello,
A properly performing Roller does do backward somersaults with such velocity that you cannot count the number of times it has turned. It should drop from the sky between 15-30 feet and come out of the roll cleanly and immediately go back to the "kit" or flock. A tumbler will typically flip backward a couple times. The difference between the two performances is quite dramatic. Hope this helps. FLY ON!
