Twisted and bent break


Do we can cut abnormaly bent and twisted parts of break to make the pigeon able to pick up food? please respond to tow@joimail.com

Hello Grazyna,
It's good to see you posting again.

Are you asking if you can cut or shape a deformed beak? My suggestion would be "No".
Does the pigeon have a scissor beak (where the upper & lower beak cross each other)?

Could you tell us a little more about the beak or perhaps send us a picture of it?
Until we get a bit more information, I would suggest placing the pigeon's seed in a 'deep' dish.

I have a pij with scissor beak and he has a ceramic crock feeder. It is the largest one and kinda deep so it seems to help him out a little.

I would warn against it, it could be dangerous and bleed if you cut off any live part of the beak
If you have a picture that might help us to tell how much more the beak grew and where it could possibly be trimmed or filed down a bit.

Is it twisting towards one side? Or is it just overgrown over the bottom part?
