White Homer Desperately Seeking Single White Female

I am interested in finding a white female homing pigeon to be a lady friend
to my pet white homer, Louie. My husband has just built a lovely large indoor
walk-in aviary for him, and we think he might like to share it with a
companion. We don't want babies, so will remove any eggs.

My only concern is Louie can be aggressive with us, "attacking" our feet, so
I'd like to be able to take the female on a trial basis --- if he treats her
as roughly he treats us, it wouldn't be fair to her to keep her with him! We'd
then like to have the option of returning her. We're hoping he'd be kinder to
a female or she'd at least let him have it if he was too rough.

We live in the San Francisco Bay area; if you live out here and have a female
you'd like to try with Louie, or have any recommendations as to who I could
contact out here, I'd appreciate it.
