wild pigeon chick update

Well the little or rather not so little faral pigeon chick that fell out of his nest about 30 stores and was badly enjured, is doing REALLY REALLY GREAT Here aer a few photos of him http://missina.cjb.net/wildlife/pigeonchick/index.html
Now there are a few problems here. For one he cannot fly, I do not believe he ever will be able to and his sight on one side is really not good. I cannot keep him in my room because I have other birds in here, I cannot keep him in the avary because of the domestic pigeons and the cockatiels. I cannot risk that he may carry dieses that could spread to my other birds. So he stays at night in the weight room in a very small cat carrary and on nice days he stays ina ferret cage on the side of the house were he can see but not get anywere neasr the other birds. He is eating on his own and I have gotten rid of all his external parasites. I just don't know what Im going to do with him from here. If in a few months he has not gotten better enough to be released..well Im not sure what I will do. If anyone in FL is looking for a pet pigeon and is willing to take a feral pigeon in, let me know.
