Question

Would like to start racing need clock

I am a beginner and would like to start racing some birds.
I got my loft built, got the birds and now need to find a clock.
Unfortunately I cannot be home when they are coming back from a race thus I need electronic clocks. If anyone knows where i can find used clocks please let me know.
Thank you,
Vitaly

Hi Vitaly,

Used e-clocks are a bit hard to find. I see them on ebay from time to time and the pigeon auction sites. Are you watching there? What make of clock are you looking for? You're not racing with the Central Oregon Racing club are you? Good luck on finding that clock.

You may already know this but you want to get the same make of electronic clock that everyone in your club is using. My club uses the TauRIS clock, others use the Benzing Atis, Unikon, Victory, just to name a few. If you buy an electronic clock that is different from your clubmates then you have to buy a club unit (over $200 for a TauRIS).

Here are a few links to help your search:
ebay search for pigeon clock: http://search.ebay.com/pigeon-clock_...ectZ1QQfromZR8

pigeon auctons.com:
http://www.pigeonauctions.com/index.cfm

You may want to call around to the clubs in your area to see if somebody knows of one for sale. I bought mine used from someone that quit pigeon racing that was in my club.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Might contact Rick Mardis Contenital breeding station CBS out of oklahoma city. How much are youprepared to pay. Clocks Are not so cheap. Used one may still be 450 to 600 dollars. Might even contact seigals or foys to see if they have any. Or go to pigeons classified and post that you are looking to buy one. Even arizona pigeon club classified would help.
