I emailed Ken Livingstone, Mayor of London at: mayor@london.gov.uk

Speaking as a potential tourist and pigeon lover, and with all respect due his office, I told London's mayor what I thought of banishing pigeons from Trafalgar Square. I reminded him of a British history steeped in pigeon lore, and the exemplary service of pigeons to England in two world wars.

I asked him to share my comments with the Lord Mayor's Office (a separate entity) as a matter of protocol.

Why not take a minute and tell him what you think?
