Mysterious Disappearing Announcments

You may see announcements for upcoming pigeon shows pop up here and there and change or disappear.

It's just a trial, because we don't have the luxury of a 'test' version of Pigeon Talk.

The intention (following from a comment by George) is to provide a way of keeping current announcements current until after the event.

Unfortunately this way has drawbacks, one being it can get a bit over the top in volume (and there's probably a limit to an announcement's size), the other that one of the team has to keep on top of it.

What we may end up with is a sub-forum in the Fanciers' section just for Pigeon Shows, where you guys can post a thread for each new upcoming show.
