This first little girl is doing good.(Chevy)
I got a second one (Hoot/male) not that long after I got the first.
They both eat A LOT, but the only problem is that they are not taking to the worms or berries I've been giving them. I'm a little discourged about it but I'm not going to stop trying.
I've been busy lately with everything going on but I will bring everyone up to date in what I am doing very soon.

Sparrows are primarily seed eaters. They'll eat fruit and insects on occassion, but not all of the time. The little guys would probably love it if you got them a seed mix for finches.

I currently have a 5 yr old English Sparrow (raised 'em from a baby).

JGregg,
When I started this post I was told by my co-work it was a sparrow. But when I got it was acually a baby american robin.

Sorry, I read the title and went from there.

You might want to give Mazuri small bird pellets a try as well as keeping with the worms and fruit. I heard that it works well for peking robins (hopefully the american robins will like it).

I feed the Mazuri small bird to my starling (due to the recommendation of a softbill expert), and she's doing wonderfully.
