HOORAY! (Shi especially)DEAN the cockatiel is now ours. Our relatives came back from their trip and called us this afternoon to see if we would like to keep him. (No brainer)
Shi, you once told me that we'd get another one - that things just seem to work out and you've been so supportive since he got here a few weeks ago, so thanks. They will miss him I know but knew with as much traveling as they do he needed to be with someone who would be constant in his life. He is a darling and I'll get a picture up tomorrow. Sometime this week we'll take him for a physical and wing clipping so he can stay outside the cage more. ( There is always room for one more bird!)

I am looking forward to seeing THE DEAN...I know he will have a wonderful life with you!! I'm sure they have visiting rights.. not too many, tho...we don't want them to get the idea they may want him back! Last edited by mr squeaks; 26th June 2006 at 10:43 PM. |
