I'm in the process of trying to track it down. I received these and other pictures in an e-mail from someone that doesn't know either. Sure is colorful! If I find out I will post it. A friend of mine raises Chinese Pheasants but keeps a few Goldens just because they are sooo beautiful.

I was amazed by its colour so had to know what it was, The first bird that came up was a green headed tanager, Also just as nice looking but not quite the same. link below for reference :-)
http://neotropical.birds.cornell.edu...p_p_spp=611276 On a side note me and my flattie Luke used to have a golden pheasant pair, He had had the cock for about 10 years and it passed about a year or two back, Have not got another one as we had to have a large avairy for the pair and as soon as the old boy passed we found a home for the hen and...... you guessed it, Turned the old run into a pigeon loft. The 7th or 8th one I think.......... It's a worry I know! but thats between two people....
