i saw a video on youtube once of a pelican at a zoo or park stalking, catching, and then eating a pigeon..ok far from a fish don't you think..

Well the first picture is photoshopped but the others look pretty legit. Cassowaries can be real dangerous birds!

LOL, the first picture with the seagulls looks like Hampton Beach in the summer........if you open up a package of crackers!!
We have a wild turkey that has 'claimed' a neighborhood down the road. He is attacking people when they come out of their house, and when they drive in their driveway....he won't let them out of their cars! The residents (transients from Massachusetts) have complained so much, that fish and game have given the local PD permission to shoot him

Had a canada goose chase my car yesterday, guess I was going too slow and he had goslings and a wife. he ran straight after my car with his beak open and neck straight out as far as it could go...lol.. too bad I did not take a picture, it would of been good with these...lol..

Seagulls can be very bold, especially if anyone gets too close to their young/nests, or when food is around & they are very hungry.
One of my old workplaces was right next door to a bakery & the owner used to throw cakes & rolls out to them in the early hours of the morning. Was incredible to watch them actually catch things in mid air, nothing ever hit the ground. One night about 3am there was incredible screaming outside, it actually sounded like someone was being attacked. When we went to investigate, there was 2 seagulls trying to chase of a family of 4 foxes that were rumaging through rubbish, it was the foxes that were screaming as the seagulls were dive bombing them. Theres a few pics of some swans in holyrood park in one of my other posts, but thought a couple of others would be suitable here lol   For some reason it had a fascination with my feet & legs, wasnt actually attacking, more trying to grab & pull in lol (btw, from where it was in the water, its neck is stretched out about 3 1/2 feet long !!!)
