2 years of work to fly away this SundayThis little lady came in over two years ago with high voltage burns on both feet and unable to fly more than a couple yards. With steroids, good food and a safe place to recuperate she will be hitting the open skies again this coming Sunday - wish her luck she has been a nice bird to rehab, a really classy lady, going to miss her.
NAB :-) When she came in she was an adolescent now she's a grown up Golden Eagle and should get her golden cap this coming fall molt. ![]() |

How beautiful! Since she was young when she was found and was kept for so long, do you think she'll be a little confused when she has to fend for herself again?

Fantastic job, nice looking eagle. I hope she lives a long and healthy life. Is there any way to keep an eye on her after release, just too make sure. I would hate to see any thing happen to her, my wife has a thing about eagles she just loves them. I'm going to show her this post. Have you any more pics?
Thanks, Dave |
