Anteaters As Pets ..

The person who has and cares for these two is a member of a bird list that I am on .. these anteaters are just amazing, and bless the owner .. who in the world would know how to take care of two anteaters .. certainly not I!

I wouldn't mind borrowing them to clean up the sugar ants that invade my kitchen every spring.

Don't think I ever even saw an Ant Eater!
They are soooo cute...and I'm sure very helpful, though can't help but feel sorry for the poor little ants!!!
Thankfully, I've never had a problem with them...yet!
Cute post, Terry! Where do you find the time????...Glad you do!
Thanks for sharing!

There was a hysterically funny series of pictures posted to my bird list where the owner had made some rope "bridges" and also brought some dirt into the house for the anteaters to "nose" through .. just totally wonderful!

I'm enchanted with Pua and Stewie and wanted to share them with you folks. Truly, I can't even begin to imagine what it's like to care for two anteaters, but, as you can see .. they are healthy and well cared for.

Terry

PS: I guess I just know some "interesting" people ..
