Curious Machine Ornament...Fledgling 'squeaker' who came in on his own steam, but I have no idea from where...other than I had the Big Door open and had been doingthe daily Sunset feed of the ferals.
Anyway, notice him much later at night, and snapped his picture on the 'flash' setting owing to how dim it is out in the Workshop. I did a double take on his faint silohuette, instinctively recognising there was an extra 'bump' on the top profile of the old Flat Belt Drive No. 3 Morse Taper Drill Press. Anyway, he's underweight, flyes very well, has a little Canker lesion in his Throat, sees brave and confident and unafraid og being fussed over, so, I recon he had heard this was the place to go to. We did some Seed-Pops, and I popped in a Metronidazole Tablet while we were at it...and guided his Beak into some tepid Water which he really liked. I have him set up in a Cage with an older Hen who also is on Metronidazole, so...she can show him about 'pecking', and I will to...and they both seem to like eachother's company. I might just introduce 'Mr. Tube' and get a couple rounds-a-day of good Formula into him just for good measure. Or drag the 'Nipple' out...
