Ice Spikes Everywhere this Morning

Just wanted to share a couple pics of some cool ice formations this morning. These are grape vines, which usually dont have ANY spikes on them!

I know, sad looking isn't it? Lots of robins are now staying here for the winter. I plant lots of trees and bushes for winter food, and you can watch the robins climbing all through the holly bushes all winter, picking the berries. Lots of birds love the crab apple trees, and bittersweet. Oh yes, and the winterberry, which seems to stay on the branches for most of the winter, so I think they take that as a last resort. LOL. Poor things. I always feel badly for them when it storms. Don't know why they are staying here year round now. I wouldn't if I had somewhere better to fly to.
