A Poem for my Pigeons

[PigeonsCrazy]

Carl:
You were my first male pigeon
and with you I was very smitten
Then one day you took to the air
All I could do was cry and stare
I hope you're okay in this big wide world
In November Carl got out of his coop and I haven't seen him since. =**[

Brooke:
Brooke, my little girl all white and red
I can't ever get you out of my head
You lived with me for alomost two years
And for you I shed many tears

Brooke had to be put to sleep on July, 14, 2009.

Those are lovely tributes to your pigeons. Thank you so much for sharing. And there are other pigeon poems...a friend of mine has written some for birds he's lost and I wrote one myself.
